Fulfilment Centre Associate
Location: Central London Stores
Job Purpose:
Fulfilment Centre Associates form the backbone of our operations - they manage the picking and packing of customer orders, delivery handover to our assigned riders, all whilst ensuring accurate stock management.
In addition to playing a key role in Zapp’s operations, you’ll also enjoy a strong career path ahead of you - those who demonstrate strong performance in this position will have the opportunity to progress into a role as Shift Manager.
Responsibilities
Picking and packing customer orders quickly, accurately and with a high level of care.
Securing packed orders before handover to our third party riders.
Ensuring your Zapp Store is clean and tidy at all times and that any potential hazards are dealt with safely and efficiently.
Maintaining a high level of stock accuracy by conducting thorough stock checks.
Checking stock availability and expiry dates whenever picking items or adding items to stock.
Ensuring deliveries are added to stock and scanned on the system correctly.
Investigating discrepancies and using your initiative to resolve issues.
Helping with ad-hoc tasks when the need arises.
Skills, Experience and Attributes
Comfortable communicating in English
Great listening and communication skills
Punctual with time management, with the ability to be flexible
Proactive and able to take initiative with problem solving
Can work at a fast pace and under pressure
Experience of working in retail (desirable, but not essential)
Skilled with a barcode scanner (desirable, but not essential.
